We use a service called Stripe to handle all our payment processing on our site. We accept Amex, Discover, Visa and Mastercard. Your card information, if you choose, is stored securely on the Stripe servers. We retain none of the credit card information on our servers except for perhaps the last four digits of the card number.

The Empire Points & Rewards feature is a great way to use your past purchases to help fund your future ones. During checkout you will see how many points you’ll be able to earn and how many points you currently have on hand.

Here are some of the features of the Points & Rewards program:

  1. For each purchase you will receive 1 point per dollar spent.
  2. You will receive 25 points when you create an account.
  3. For every 50 points, you will receive $1.50 toward the items in your cart, not including shipping.
  4. You can review your points by accessing the My Account tab.
  5. To receive your points you must be signed in as a user. If you check out as a guest you will not receive your points.
  6. Empire Points have no dollar value and are only redeemable as intended through our site.

Coffee storage is actually pretty important. Unfortunately, coffee doesn’t improve with age like wine can. Therefore, making sure you keep your beans safe and sound will ensure great flavor and aroma. First off, we always recommend whole bean coffee over ground. We understand that it can be a pain to grind your own coffee, but the difference is totally worth it. Regardless of which you buy, never store your coffee in the fridge or freezer. As you remove the coffee from either, condensation forms on the grinds and bad things happen. Instead, you should leave your coffee in its protective bag, folded tight and stored in a cupboard.

Good rule of thumb on this one is a 12oz bag per week for two people.

Our Subscription program is simple but powerful in all the right ways. First off, each Subscription item is 10% off the regular price. In addition, if you aren’t 100% satisfied you can modify, pause or even cancel at any time from the My Accounts tab.

All our Subscriptions are continuous until you cancel or pause them in the Subscriptions section of the My Account tab.

Some of our coffee is Organic, and we are certified by GOA. Any coffee that we sell as Organic will have the USDA Organic logo on both the label and on the item page on our website.

You can learn more about Organic certification here.

We offer free shipping on all orders over $50. We charge a flat $3 for subscription orders, and all other purchases we charge a $6.95 flat rate charge. All our shipping is done either via USPS or UPS.

Once your order is completed you will receive an email with your tracking information. You can always view your order in the My Account tab of our site.

We currently use USPS or UPS for our shipping so we like to estimate a 5-7 day delivery window. However, in our experience customers usually receive their coffee within a few days depending on how close they are to our roastery.

We are located at 106 Purdy Ave. Port Chester NY 10573.

Absolutely. We are using the industry standard security protocols. Our entire site is encrypted using SSL and none of your card information is stored on our servers. We also do not sell or provide any personal data to anybody unless required to by law.

Once we receive an order it is roasted and packaged within a few days. Our goal is to provide you with delicious, fresh coffee in a timely fashion. Once your order is completed you will receive an email with your tracking information.

We purchase coffee from Central and South America, Africa, Asia and Indonesia depending on the season and our needs. All our coffees are 100% Arabica.

Our per-measured portion packs are the perfect solution when you want to brew a consistently delicious and fresh pot of coffee at home or in your business. Each bag makes a full pot of coffee (approximately 8-10 cups depending on  your brewer). If you find your coffee too strong we recommend adding a bit more water. If you find it too light, reduce the amount of water you put into  your coffee maker.
